I know first hand how to run a business and deal with complex technical issues.  The state fiscal crisis indicated that we have a flawed regulatory structure, which requires a state representative with an business background to make decisions on issues that greatly affect the future of our state.  What sets me apart from other candidates is my experience and proven leadership in effectively influencing government policy on business and technical issues.

I am proud to have served 7 years as Vice-President of the American Society of Business Executives for California, Minnesota, and Oregon. I worked to advocate for responsible government on behalf of business. I successfully lobbied the State to invite business and technical input on the often poorly drafted and anti-business legislation considered by the legislature.  I also played an active role in the fight for the socialization of California’s energy system.

With my experience working with the legislature and my 30 years of Business experience, I will bring to an effective voice to Sacramento to address those issues important to our district.
